It is also free on special dates: 18 April, 18 May (International Museum Day), 12 October, 9 November (museum anniversary) and 6 December. Bear in mind that visitor numbers are very high during those slots and queues can be long. If you want to enter without waiting at any time, an online ticket is the most convenient option.

Self-guided visit or guided tour?

With a ticket you explore the museum freely and set your own pace. If you'd prefer to understand the history and context of each work without missing anything, the guided tour includes the ticket and an expert guide.
